In this session, Gina will talk with us about how to move through and beyond those events, to a place of living with passion, purpose, and personal joy.
Executive Presence: Gina describes Executive Presence as the ability to quickly establish credibility and effectively communicate your position to anyone; regardless of age, gender, stature, or title. This session provides you with the actionable tips to enhance your presence and persuasive communication skills, as well as pitfalls to avoid, in a fun, interactive environment.

In this intensive and interactive session, Ann Baldwin, a former career news reporter, turned strategic communications strategist will share with you her insights and “lessons learned” from her 20+ years of assisting school districts and School Business Officials that deal with “today’s media.”
From the latest trends in reputation management, to how you can best protect yourself in today’s ever changing world of social and traditional media. This session will not only provide you with the do’s and don’ts of how and when to respond to social media, it will also provide you with the tools that you, or your organization can use to craft an appropriate and effective response.

9:00 am—Make an Impact On Your Community & Your Team - Ty Newberry
Make An Impact – Mr. Newberry will discuss the ripple effect, how it works, and why it is urgent to get started making an impact. He will highlight how his not-for-profit has created many different types of programs to positively impact kids and families in our community.
Assemble and Lead Your Team to Success – During this topic, Ty will look at objectives of leadership and why being a transformational leader is better than being a transactional leader. Then, we will examine assembling teams/staff to play to and maximize their strengths. Finally, we use the formula of communication, relationships and resources to have successful outcomes.
Team Building – Ty will have attendees practice a number of team building exercise that he has employed over many years in both hockey and the business world. These activities are fun, easy, require limited instruction and no intense props/tools. They are also activities that can be done right in your building. These exercises are not only good team building activities, but a great way to start regular staff meetings to break up the monotony.
