9:00 am        Best Practices for School Food Services - This session offers a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of effective school food service operations. It covers USDA and NSLP requirements—such as meal pattern compliance, reimbursement, and documentation—along with key food safety practices. Participants will also learn about outsourcing food services through Food Service Management Companies (FSMCs).  Designed for new school business officials, food service directors, and others looking to enhance their understanding of child nutrition program operations. The session will be presented by Chartwell representatives Sara Patterson, Regional Dietitian, Jamie Davies, Area Director, and Jessica Brown, Regional Sales Director.
