| Microsoft 365 Productivity Series This six-session series will focus on leveraging the capabilities of the Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365 collaborative tools.  Each webinar will focus on one or more applications, providing tips, tricks, and productivity strategies that can be effectively applied now, during social distancing, and in the future at our schools and district offices. All Sessions will be 1:00 PM -2:00 PM Eastern October 15:    OneDrive - Microsoft OneDrive is a powerful tool for organizing, accessing, and sharing files in today’s hybrid work environment. Participants will learn how to navigate OneDrive’s interface, store and sync files across devices, access files remotely, and collaborate with colleagues. How to organize files and folders, as well as create shortcuts for shared documents, will also be covered.   We will also explore online versions of major Office 365 applications. November 12:  Effectively using Outlook - Outlook is a very powerful mail application, calendar, and task manager all in one. While many people use the application, few effectively utilize its features to organize their communication. Most of our focus will be on email management, but we will also spend some time exploring interesting calendar options. January 14:  MS Word Tips and Tricks - Microsoft spent over a billion dollars developing Word and the rest of the Office suite. There are numerous features, some well-known and many that are not.  We will dive deep, exploring ways to create various types of documents and enhance them all.  Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro, you will come away with many new tools in your word toolbox. February 18:  Excel Tips and Tricks - This session will explore various features of Excel, including time-saving tips, the most common functions, conditional formatting, creating drop-down menus, basic date functions, and spreadsheet printing and formatting.  We will start with the basics and then move on to features unfamiliar to even the most experienced Excel users. March 18:  MS PowerPoint - This session will explore many of PowerPoint's best features.  You will not only learn what the application can do, but also tips on how to use its features to create impactful presentations.   How to avoid common mistakes, “death by PowerPoint,” will also be covered. April 15:  Practical Uses of OneNote - We will explore powerful ways to use OneNote, plan, and collaborate with your boss and team members.   Communicating through shared notebooks rather than emails has many advantages that we will explore.  We will examine many of the features and explore practical ways to integrate them into your workflow.  |
